- Los Angeles International Airport is the sixth most busiest airport in the world, located 26 km from Los Angeles, California. Airport services make use of 58.9 million passengers per year. Flights to Los Angeles are mainly offered by United Airlines, Alaska Airlines and American Airlines, which also have their headquarters at the airport. In addition, Los Angeles and Southwest Airlines, Allegiant Air, Air New Zealand, Qantas and Virgin America are also used. Los Ageles Airport has up to 9 terminals. Terminal 1 serves mainly domestic and regional flights by Southwest Airlines, US Airways and US Airways Express. Terminal 2 uses Air Canada, Air France, Air New Zealand, KLM and Volaris for international flights. Terminal 3 focuses on AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, JetBlue, V Australia and Virgin America flights. Terminals 4 to 8 are mainly for US flights. The last terminal is Tom Bradley International Terminal. This terminal is intended primarily for flights operated by Turkish Airlines, British Airways, Swiss Airlines, Lufthansa and Asian Airlines.
